Paddling "styles"

I see at least two "keys" in this thread: 1) the importance of incorporating the trunk for power generation and paddling efficiency and 2) a "style" that works for one may not work for another. Not everyone wants to paddle "nonchalantly", although most are interested in efficiency and how to tap into power.
