I'm the greatest seakayaker on my block.

I'm also the only seakayaker on my block, so perhaps also the worst!

I paddle a Guillemot 18 ( KayakWiki ), a VCP Avocet ( KayakWiki ) and a Squeedunk Cormorant 16 ( KayakWiki ). I am in the middle of building a folding Yost-style folding Greenland-style kayak, a traditional Greenland-style SOF, and a strip Chestnut Prospector. I have done repairs on numerous fiberglass, kevlar, carbon, and royalex canoes and kayaks. I plan to build a Redfish King, and a S&G qajariaq sometime this winter.

I am an ACA-Certified Coastal Kayak 3-4 instructor, and teach for one of the local shops, as well as private lessons.

Thanks Nick for such a great forum--I've met some of the greatest people through this forum and they're just as nice in real life!

Kayaking is a water sport. Expect to get wet.
