I'm Jim Wesley, 46, live in Newtown, CT. I trade ocean freight for a commodities company. I have 2 teenage boys and a wife let's me pursue my compulsions as long as I carry my load around the house. I have been canoeing for years but am totally new to kayaking. I started building canoes so that I could have something better to paddle on the cheap. I paddle a lot in a solo canoe on LI Sound and decided a kayak would be the next boat to build. Fortunately, my nature has kept me immersed in learning the sport since I got started and I've discovered this will take a while. Thanks to all of you.
