This wll be my fourth year of paddling. I would consider my skill level as an advanced beginner to an intermediate although I feel my skills are rapidly improving. I live 40 miles west of Chicago and paddle Lake Michigan as often as I can. I live near the Fox River and practice there a few times a week. I'm somewhat of a "clinic junkie" and have traveled to some pretty cool places in search of paddling classes. My wife and three teenage kids also paddle and over the last few years I have managed to get them all outfitted with their own stuff.
