The design looks like late 60's. Is there actually a Klepper label on it? Many clubs splashed molds of European kayaks about that time, so it looks like it might be a homebuilt knockoff. I got my first used kayak in 1970 and it also had those knee bumps. The club name for the design I had was "Club 66" because 1966 is when is when they modified a kayak and made a mold. I started in California but the practice was also happening back east, Northwest, and in the Rockies. I'm curious. Where are you located?
Have fun, be safe, and keep the smooth side down,
: Bought this 13' 2" fiberglass Klepper kayak at a lawn sale today for
: $20.00, including the Old Towne paddles. Don't know a thing about it.
: Anyone know the approximate age/worth of this one, or anything else about
: it? It's a fixer-upper for sure, or a planter. Haven't decided yet.
