I've tried to incorporate some of the suggestions I got on my first drawing for the surf kayak. Here is the modified version so far. I cut quite a bit of length off, added rocker with more kick at the bow and stern, and increased the volume of the stern.

I am not competely happy with the plan (viewed from top) shape, but I think I'm getting close.

Any further comments would be appreciated.
