: these conditions?Difficult - sounds as if you need something short and manoeuverable for
the tributaries and getting round downed trees. Something with a lot more
rocker than a GD might fit the bill (as well as shorter). But if you need to
paddle upstream in those faster bits, short, beamy and easily turned is
going to make life difficult unless there is slower current at the edges.
To be honest, short and beamy would be good if you each paddled on a
different side. Have you considered a Prospector Canoe ?Andy
