My guess is the Guillemot would do just fine. It's very stable and exquisitely amneuverable, both big pluses. It's not a large volume boat, so you can't bring the Franklin stove along, but there's plenty of room for ordinary light camping equipment. My $.02 worth, anyway. It's a blast to build too, and really fun to drive around with the boat on the roof!
