Kayak and Canoe Design Bulletin Board
Naval CAD software recommendations?

I'm interested in getting some kayak design software (for a PC, not Mac) and was wondering if anyone has some recommendations. I've perused some of the freeware that's available, but I'd like something that could handle free-form as well as plywood hulls and do basic hull calculations. Also helpful would be the ability to take the Sea Kayaker s&g 2-D panels and put them into 3-D so I could learn a bit about that design. 5 stations are given for that design, which would probably do well enough for starters, but if I could virtually bend the panels into shape, that'd be great.
