Narrower plans?

I have plans for an 18 foot long, 24.5 inches wide kayak. I'd like to have the same length but narrow it down to about 22 inches. It is a multichine kayak design. I'm not worried about how to narrow the deck, only puzzled about the hull

If I take the same fraction of an inch off each side of each panel at each station, will I have a workable design? If not, is there a better/correct way to do it? Thanks.
