I have also thought about a strip-built cat boat. I have owned a couple of Herrshoff Americas, the 18th footers, but I would like something like a beettle cat, about 14 feet or so.

I have built a couple of Nick kayaks and a few canoes, but I think building a cat boat would be interesting, and the finished product beautiful.

What size are you considering?
