Don’t be so sure we live a world that can’t be lost. Do all the bits and bytes that form our information age get saved? Even if they are is the media as stable as paper or stone? Will the tape this message board gets save on be archived? If it is will a device that can read it exist 200 years from know? I often wonder if we might leave a large hole in history as we fdsk our hard drive before we send them to the trash bin.
