I'll currently building a trimaran kayak based on the CLC SailRig.

So I'm definitely interested. What your running into here is that the BB is mostly paddlers. That's what they built thier kayaks for. Sailing rigs on kayaks are for the most part auxilliary power. Kayaks like the TriYak take the concept to the other extreme.
