If you tape the multiple sheets together and spray aerosol adhesive on the backs, you can stick them directly to the wood and cut to the lines, without the intermediate step of transferring to a single piece of paper. Stencil adhesive works well, and peels off easily. 3M makes several spray adhesives, but all of them I have tried are so aggressive that a lot of cleanup is required. Stencil adhesive is available at craft stores, like Ben Franklin on the left coast.
