Hi Ron : Sorry I took so long to respond. The Tursiops was my first attempt at boatbuilding, and I had only the plans, no building manual or instructions. I worked on it in my spare time and completed it in three months. It was a very good experience, and I enjoyed every aspect of its construction. It actually went together pretty fast. I spent alot of time in the shop just looking at it and contemplating the next step. It was a real thrill the first time I went fishing from it and caught a largemouth bass. Everytime I go somewhere with it people are drawn to it like a magnet, and rave about it. One guy came running up to my truck while I was backing up just to get a look and said it belonged in a museum. I just grinned and said "No Way", I built it to use it.
