I have a question about were to place a sailing rig.

I do not have a lot of time this year to build a kayak so I though that I would build another S&B canoe. I have always wanted a small sailing canoe (12 foot, maybe a 14 footer). I have just about everything figured out except where the sail rigging should be placed.

Does anyone have an idea on how to decide where it’s location should be?

The only other concern I have is how big the centerboard should be.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.
