To tell you the truth I don't remember how I felt. I remember being happy to be out of the boat! It rained the whole trip, not hard but constant so that sticks in my mind. I looked through my pictures to see if I could get a facial expression or something to remind me but only have pictures of my brother. He's a camera hog! He looks pretty spent and I can't imagine me feeling any better.
I do remember being very hungry when we stopped and we chowed!! We knew we would be back to Harrison Hot Springs before lunch the next day so we saved enough for a large breakfast and basically ate everything else!
I usually guage how good a trip was by how much I DON'T want to go back to work. I didn't quit my job so it wasn't my best trip!! (Yes, I have quit after a holiday because I just couldn't see going back to all the crap after such a great trip!) {:o)
On a different note, on my trip to Shushwap Lake we witnessed a boat fire in the middle of the night! It takes about 45 minutes for a 22 foot Bayliner type fiberglass boat to burn to the waterline. I have pictures. They aren't pretty! Shows you what will happen to your boat if it is too close to the campfire.
