Engine!

Would it be possible to cut about 4" off the end of a fibreglass canoe and attach an outboard engine, with hinges to elevate it out of the water! What effect would this have on stability and resistance to rolling. Would having the rear section blunt be a major performance loss? Is it worthwhile? I have the tools and can do the work but I'm unsure about what the canoe would do during storms or even light waves! Thanks in Advance!

Please e-mail me at mcbryan@geocities.com because I always lose track of these sites!

Thanks

Tony
