Hi Nolan, just responding to any old thread here, built a MC13 when I first moved out here and like it alot , as well as the 20"wide north bay. I glued minicell under the deck and was able to get more than adequate thigh bracing, I also made a seat that sit a little higher than the stock seat so I can clear the deck with no problem,225cm paddle. Not sure if that would make the boat tippier than you want but with the thigh braces it is no problem. One of the things that I like about this little high volume kayak is how easy it is to fine tune the tracking by shifting weight fore/aft.
