Hi Wayne, I have no idea whether your boat will meet paticular levels of stability, my total guestimate is that it would be much more stable were the two paddlers sitting the same height above the bottom as in the single. As i understand your intention is to have the paddlers butts 2"above waterline draining to where?

There is a SOT manufacturer in Hawaii that makes neat SOT glass boat, friends back in Calif. had converted a few Mariner Coasters into SOTs. Are there any glass sots it Australia other than surf-skis? I think it is an excellent idea. I was intending to make my CLC Northbay into a sot but got intimidated by the engineering and made a regular kayak. Have you seen any of the Tsunami kayaks? They have a good collection of unique engineering for rock bashing rudders. keep us posted. lee
