In constant camber construction you create a piece of curved plywood with which you create the hull. The plywood is laminated together with diagonal layers of precut strips of wood. This piece of plywood has the same curvature along its length. The advantage of keeping the "camber" constant is once you find the right shape for the strips of wood, you can use the same shape for all the strips instead of "spiling" each strip to fit together with the previous strips.
