Yes, I got the books from John Winters. Is he still the source for these books. There are a couple other worthwhile books on my bibliography Most notably: "Contributions to Kayak Studies" and "Inuit Kayaks in Canada" both put out by the Canadian Museum of Civilization. They look into the culture of the kayak builders.
