My recollections of the .5 were long ago but had the chance to A/B with a Tofino. For a 30" beam kayak as full as that one there's no need to go for a long boat. I was wondering if the Amaruk was more or less efficient for average cruising speed. Doubles are a funny niche without much A/B testing going on.
