Hi Ron,

Boy, I thought I was big :^) Being the size and wieght you are, AND wanting to pack a weeks worth of gear, you will certainly need a large boat. If you are almost 2/3 legs like me, that means our feet stretch way out and take up for'ard compartment space. My boat is 18' with a 25" beam, and I wish I had a little extra for gear. Of course, I'm not the best packer in the world either. Right Lar?

You MIGHT want to look at "shortening" a double instead of stretching a single. Or is this basically the same thing? How bout it experts, any easier?

Anyway, I feel for ya' man.

Good luck,

Rick
