> start falling asllep almost emediatly after I get in. thanks alot daveProbably too late to help, but I'm in the process of building a yare now.In Chris' book he mentions that the deck can easily be altered by decreasing the radii of the deck beams.The plans in the book call for a 25" radius.Perhaps somewhere in the neighborhood of 22" could buy you sufficent room without undue design changes to the hull.Reducing the beam by any significant amount on a boat with an already round cross section will in all likelihood result in a very "twitchy" craft.
