Zoar Sport seat

My husband and I demo'd kayaks and my husband has settled on the Necky Zoar Sport. His only complaint, however, is the seat...the rising edges cut into his legs. The dealer has not given us many options to help fix the problem...any suggestions of fixing the current seat or getting a new one?
