The CLC Patuxent 19.5 is suppose to be a good sprint boat. They now have a light weight 'sprint' option. It's got a hard chine though so it's got more area, and more skin friction, than a round bottom boat. The local racers here in Dallas build thier own racing caones, 20ft long 20in beam, rather tippy, with small rudders, like those on a rowing skull. Sorry no pics.
