Scaling the Size the the Guillemot

I am thinking ahead to a new winter project -- building a guillemot. However, I am a bigger guy (6'0" - 213#)and thus was thinking about scaling the boat up and want to make sure I am thinking about this in the right way.

I decided to keep all the proportions the same and scale the entire boat up to account for more wieght.

By my calculations the displacement of the guillemot would go from 215 lbs (at the waterline) to 250lbs if I scaled the entire thing by about 5%.

New dementions would be 17.9'x21.8"x3.7"(below the waterline).

I used the same prismatic coefficient for the scaled up version to calculate the displacement.

Any thoughts?????? Am I way off base here? Is there an easier solution? Open to any suggestions.

By the way I did read the last chapter of your book Nick and thus believe that this is the right solution.
