Pete I've just started building (stripper) a fast multisport kayak which I designed using Bearboat. It's ideal for fast boats as the program is based on minimising the wetted surface area. You could have my design if you are interested and adapt it to your requirements - it would be easy to turn it into a ski. I have just finished the form and it looks cool so far.
