just curious, what would be the strength difference between a 4mm plywood panel with 2oz kevlar on one side 4oz glass on the other compared to a typical 4mm panel with 6oz glass on both sides?

my crude backyard experiments with different cloths,4,6 oz glasses E,S,polyester, kevlar, carbon, different tapes of said materials did educate me to the different characteristics of these materials as they failed. But I came away with the sense that everything breaks when hit hard enough. It doesn't take much more glass to significantly increase impact strength. Or much more kevlar to significantly increase strength. Therefore I find that more of the same is stronger, less is weaker.
