George, I was thinking to get more than 33% increase in load since the wider sections in the middle part of the boast get correspondingly larger by extension than the narrower end portions and there are more of them. My rough calculations indicate about the same bottom surface/wetted area (and displacement?) for the 24' x 24" boat as my 20' x 29" commercial double. Does that make sense or am I missing something? I am new to building and changing designs so any input is appreciated.
