drew, I'm hoping that Nick,John,Chris,et al. are all out there designing a boat for you. My sister paddles my daughters pygmy 13 just fine. The 13 is a "good" design. It took bike manufacturers about 10 years to catch onto the "womens" market, ie: Terry bikes. The mass kayak manufacturers have been making good smaller boats for about ten years so it looks like this boutique industry is about to respond. The only thing I might do for the 13 is add another 1/2" to the top shear panel. Regular stern flotation bags fill the the bow and stern up very well so should you decide to not add bulkheads/hatches the boat is easy to empty. call pygmy , maybe there's a boat in the works.
