On the negative side, it feels beamy. As a beginer I appreciated the stability, but after extended time on surf-ski's, it just seems a bit sloppy. I'm going to retrofit a retractable skeg to it, as it could really use the help in following seas. As with all stitch and glue kits that I've seen, the cockpit needs serious customization. The stock thermarest seat is something of a joke, and the cockpit opening is large so that it's hard to put knee braces where I want them. Mainly it's been great, but I need something a little quicker to keep up with the faster boats out there.
