Here's a photo of the 2nd model I made. I consider it (with some mods), a viable kayak and have named it type T-1. At about 26" long and 6" wide, it was used as a markup "dwg" for notes and layout of various items.

My strip layout model was of type T-3, a more aggressively chined surfyak, but you get the general idea of what I'm referring to. This model was made in basically the same initial way that the full sized one was and as you can see gives an interesting idea of what is to come.

Today or tomorrow on the Building BB, I am posting some strongback photos which will show type T-4 actually being laid up(!).
