Drawing Fullsized Plans

How do you creat full-sized drawings from a smaller design?

Generally you will need to create full-sized sectional shapes to build a boat from plans. If you are not using CAD, it is typically easiest to draw these sections at a smaller scale and then enlarge them.

I've enlarged plans by bringing the scale drawings to a copy center and having them enlarge the drawings. Or you can use a pantograph, with which you trace the drawing with a pointer while a interconnected rods control a pen which draws a scaled version of what you are tracing. Or you can overlay some graph paper on your drawing and transfer the lines onto another pieces of graph paper of another scale.
