Thanks for your help. Yes, the boats that I've seen are also sit-on-top style. I'm not sure why, but I'm really drawn to the shape of the hulls on these boats. One more question: Let's say that I do have access to a boat to design from. How do I get from looking at the boat to scribing the forms on paper. I have some computer software that will work but it's not cad so I'll essentially be drawing it on the computer. The only advantage is being able to keep it there and make changes should i want to.
