Then superimpose the keel shape on the centre form to suite your design intent. You should note that there is a compromise between stability and straight tracking here.) Then on subsequent form drawings stepping from the centre form, fair out the keels such that they disappear into the initial shapes at say the 1/4 points. Then build.
I think however, that it is more fun to build (design) a racehorse rather than a pig, so what I would do is to design and build without the keels. Then on the totally finished kayak I would glue and fair in 3 styrofoam rails (sponsons, keels?), glass them in and away you go! Then when your daughter grows up or you want to paddle it yourself or sell it, grind off the rails and you have a boat left that you wouldn't be ashamed of showing to the kayak krowd.
