Ted Henry

My wife Holly and I live and paddle in the Seattle area, like a zillion other kayakers. We can at least claim to have the only wooden kayaks on our block though.

My non-kayaking background includes science, military pilot, corporate finance, computer graphics, photography, and a whole bunch of outdoor stuff. Holly is retired from nutrition research for a large science foundation. Being empty nester's lets us pursue kayaking just about whenever we want.

The garage is currently stuffed with a Redfish Silver and Redfish King for camping, a Redfish Golden and Valley Avocet for day paddling and play, and one old beat up white water boat for pool sessions. I have my eye on a couple interesting designs so who knows what I will have next year. It helps that we get to try a lot of different kayaks while paddling with the very active South Sound Area Kayakers.
