Epoxy: Sun Exposure/ No UV

Looks like I've pushed the finishing time too close to a paddling trip I wanted to go on. My question is can a recently epoxied boat with no UV protection (varnish) withstand 5-6 hours in the sun for seven days? I've read on this web site that an epoxied boat can take a certain amount of UV exposure. I can cover it on the beach. It's also a freshwater trip if that makes any difference. Or should I be looking for another boat?
