: I am preparing to fiberglass the inside of my stripper. I would like to mask

: Will the epoxy saturate the masking tape and make a mess? I know from

: Thanks for any feedback.: Ken
Thanks for the suggestions, folks. As a follow up, I used blue masking tape. I removed it from the hull while the epoxy was nice and green and had no problem at all removing it. However, I caught some flue after applying a seal coat to the inside of the deck, so I was delayed a few days in applying the fiberglass and removing the tape. That was more of a pain to remove, I got it off, but I could have pulled it off quickly instead of picking off pieces if I had removed it sooner.
Next time I think I will try electrical tape.
I have found packing tape often leaves a gummy surface when removed. I have been cleaning it off with "goo-gone", hoping that does not affect the epoxy.
