In Response To: Strip: Great Auk Tracking and Turning (Hyok)
I used Little Auk dimensions but used a kayak program to round it out and add volume which change the kayak quite a bit. What I ended up with could not hold a strait course. I added the skeg you see in the picture and this little boat became a dream to paddle. It glides along strait as an arrow in calm waters or in following heavy seas. The change was so different it was a completely different boat and great boat. I had built the Ocean One adjustable skeg but I am glad this fixed one is what I put on.
