Hi!
My RL name is Niels, I live in Denmark with my wife, son and our newborn daughter.
I have only sailed a kayak a few times, the first time when I was halfway through building my Guillemot. I have half a carpenters education (ended when I cut off half a finger), but my father was a carpenter, so I have learned a lot from him.
I flew and build modelaircraft for a period a few years ago, so I have tried working with fiberglass before.
My main motivation on my kayak project is the build. Later on Ill (hopefully) find out that I like paddling one 
I have decided on a slightly shortened version of the Guillemot. Shortened so it will fit inside my workshop. The weather in Denmark dont allow outdoors building most of the year (or maybe Im just a sissy).
