I live and paddle in Southern California. My favorite types of paddling are crossings and playing in surf. I have designed my own sea kayak, the Point Bennett, and the instructions on how to build it are at my website below. On the website, I also provide instructions on how to build a carbon fiber Greenland paddle, a Euro paddle with a wooden shaft and carbon fiber blades, and a neoprene spray skirt with a sewn-in bungee.
