Olli, good advice except for the fact there will be at least 3 fittings in each end that are no longer accessible from the backside.

You might be surprised how far you can reach, especially with a helper to turn the above-deck screwdriver. Beyond that, the socket wrench on a stick (pipe) does wonders.

For a low profile alternative, the webbing loops through slots work pretty well and you can pull them right to the end of the boat if necessary (pull wire inserted down into the deck).

Don't even think about deck fittings secured with screws unless you have hefty sheer clamps or end blocks to screw into. I think folks refer to machine screws (aka bolts) as screws sometimes.
