Thank you so much. It was really melting my mind that I couldn't find that particular tool lol.
And yes, that's my basic plan. Try the conduit bender, if that doesn't work, return it and order the 270f.
At first it seems, while not prohibitively expensive, a lot to spend for a 3 off build. But I know me, I can't stop building and I can't stop messing with builds. So I'm sure I'd use it again and again. Plus I'm a hobby blacksmith, any metal working tool is worth having.
I'll post progress at some point, I've done my take offs, gotten my pricing from the local metal place. Next up is to grab the conduit bender and a piece of tubing and see how controllable it is.
I'll be recreating the Nunamiut caribou hunting kayak from Dr. Zimmerly's site. I've built it in wood before and it's a great beginner to expert boat. Thank you again.
