I have had a Festool Track saw for quite awhile. It is great for knocking down sheet goods to manageable sizes before running through the table saw. Cutting the edge of decks, and I have used it to cut out oak flooring for inlays. I don't think it is a replacement for any other tool, as some try to say, but it is very useful for the right applications. Hooked to the vac system Festool has, there is virtually no dust. How ever, if Makita or DeWalt was available back then, I might have considered them instead. A blade by Festool is about $80. The arbor is an odd size, so generics are a bit hard to find.
