Gorilla Glue or other similar polyurethane glues will not work for this type of application. They are designed for gluing tightly-fitted joints in wood. On fabric, you'll end up with a foamy mess that has no strength.

Good to know!

The Goop products sold at Home Depot will do the job. It doesn't matter which one you buy, as they're all the same except for the Marine Goop, which has UV inhibitors added.

Great, I'll give this stuff a try.

That's only a concern if the glue will be subjected to direct sunlight exposure.

I only wear this drydeck during the winter so weak UV index and if I have to touch up the glue/top in two/three years that's ok.

Thanks
