Hi guys, girls!

New to this forum, so a quick intro: I plan on building a Guillemot over the winter here in Italy to play around on the lakes with. Unfortunately my garage is just short of the length of the original design so I have changed the space inbetween the forms from 1 foot to 11 inches.

My next step after putting my drawings on plywood will be setting up my strongback and I am still undecided on how to do that most efficiently. To start off with, how long will my strongback have to be?

The guillemot will be 15.58 feet instead of 17, so How long will the strongback have to be?
