Great looking boat, John. It looks quite floaty too, so I'm guessing it will take a lot of gear easily.

Et.

Thanks, Et.

The Frej has quite a bit of rocker, so that keeps the end out of the water when conditions are 'flat'.
The deck is quite low, which would be an issue for folks with larger feet - I think US size 10.5 would be about the limit. I wear 9.5 or 10 shoes and I need to wear neoprene 'creek boots' in the Frej - my paddling 'water shoes' (sneakers) make it a tight fit.

The 'skeel' gets in the way of gear a bit. I'll need to do a 'mock packing' in the back yard some day as a trial to see if I can fit in the gear I like to take. It's always a problem for me to get 2/3 of the weight aft, 1/3 forward when the aft compartment is shallow- though the need to carry water on most trips puts a lot of weight into flexible bladders which pack reasonably well.
