Strip: Preparing for Petrel Build

Good evening:

I'm hoping someone may be able to help out with a couple questions.

I'm trying to get a head start while waiting for my plans to arrive and . I have searched the board..

1. What dimension is required in the ends of the strongback for insertion of the bow and stern forms?

2. Do the plans include plans for the Skeg? I've seen a note someplace that mentions they are included with the S&G..

3. I'm planning to go staple-less, have read Rob Mack's tips, and seen the video where Nick is using same method and using the jig to hold strip on form while glue sets. Discussions about detaching strips from hot glue refer to whacking the forms sideways, but how is one to pull the deck off? I'd be interested in anyone's experience going this route as I've only seen one note about some cedar pulling out, nothing about completing stripping and not being able to open boat...

TIA,
Scott
